Well Hello!

Just a quick post to welcome you all to my new photography blog.

I have all the basics up but this is still a work-in-progress as I get back to shooting and finishing up the barn/studio conversion (new studio will open for business officially September 1st…whoo hoo!).

I think this type of blog/site combo will be much easier for me to keep up with and update.

Feedback and suggestions for articles and lessons are welcome. To give feedback or to comment, simply click on the ‘Feedback’ tab on the left side of blog (how cool is that!?)

As time and interest permits, will be posting tips, articles, tutorials, and links for people in the modeling/talent industry.

Over summer, will begin posting tutorials for newbie photographers who want to improve their shooting skills and Photoshop Elements tutorials to help you enhance your images. The tutorials shared on this blog will be aimed at newbies and hobbyists rather than pros — there are plenty of resources for pros — and are designed to help improve your shooting and post production skills in  cookbook-recipe-style — easy to learn and apply — step-by-step pdfs you can download and share with friends and family.

Lots of new stuff on the horizon, especially once the new studio is finished and off the ‘To Do’ list.

The goal this year is to simplify, focus, play more, and to be more realistic about what one person can do in one lifetime…lol!

That’s really hard to do sometimes when your work is so much fun and you have so many diverse interests. Too bad we have to sleep and do dishes, eh? LOL!
